Two students were killed and 17 people were injured during a shooting Tuesday morning at Marshall County High School in Benton, Kentucky, Governor Matt Bevin said at a press conference Tuesday.
Bailey Nicole Holt, 15, died at the scene and Preston Ryan Cope, 15, died at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.
Of the injured, 15 sustained gunshot wounds while five sustained other injuries.

He allegedly entered the school with a handgun and began firing, authorities said at the press conference. Bevin did not release the shooter’s name. Sgt.
